I was gifted a plant as a token of thanks and I was terrified. Yes, terrified. Every plant I’ve ever owned has died within two weeks, tops.


Well, today marks four weeks, and “Jay” is still alive and well.


What I’ve learned is this: don’t be afraid to take on something new just because past experiences labeled you a failure. Growth happens when we give ourselves permission to try again.
